Why BuildPilot exists
PC advice is often fragmented: a GPU tier list in one tab, CPU benchmarks in another, compatibility checks somewhere else, and rapidly changing prices everywhere. BuildPilot is being built to put those decisions into one workflow.
What makes the product different
The central idea is simple: ask what the user wants to achieve first. A 1080p 360 Hz esports build and a 4K cinematic build should not allocate the same budget even when they cost the same.

What is still being built
The next layers are deeper verified retailer feeds, automated price-alert delivery, broader benchmark calibration and richer community workflows. Existing estimates remain labeled as estimates and price sources remain distinguished as verified or reference data.

We want a user to understand why a system was suggested. Guides should link to first-party sources for hard specifications, distinguish estimates from measured facts, and disclose commercial relationships if affiliate monetization is introduced.
